Hot Summer Nights - Claremont Showgrounds, Perth

The first car gig of 2020 was Hot Summer Nights, proudly presented by The Cranksters Hot Rod and Kustom Car Club.

A few of us gassed up the old rides to be part of one of the coolest shows held at the Claremont Showground.

With over 500 hot rods and cool classics to gaze over it was a great Saturday night in a very chilled and relaxed environment and a great occasion to catch up with like minded people.

A big thanks goes out to the Cranksters for putting this on.

Classic Cars & Coffee - Nedlands, Western Australia

CC&C wrapped up 2019 with a record breaking 700+ cars.

The weather gods have been kind to us after the recent heatwave we all had to endure which brought out some of Perth’s finest rolling art.

We focused and the rare and unusual this time and a big thank you to the team behind scenes who make this all happen for us to enjoy.

See you on the flip side…ØG

Day of the VW 2019 - Fremantle, Western Australia

The usual riff-raff had a pre meet up in the Bayswater badlands before heading down to the Volkswagen Club of Western Australia’s annual show in Fremantle.

A quick coffee complimented with unedited and non-pc conversation were had before heading across to enjoy everything VW on South Freo’s Wilson Park.

There was almost every model VW on display including a few Deluxe’s and a Zwitter, juxtaposed against some very unique ‘customised’ vans new to the scene.

The weather was perfect which made the whole morning throughly enjoyable and ended with a cold brewski at the pub before parting ways..

Thank you to VWWA club for the day.

Porsche Club of W.A Concours d'Elegance 2019

The Porsche Club of Western Australia held the Annual Club Day and Concours d’Elegance at Manners Hill Park, Peppermint Grove.

Peppermint Grove is an affluent suburb on the north bank of the Swan River at Freshwater Bay and surrounded by beautiful majestic homes with manicured gardens

The event itself was more than was expected with a large display of almost every Porsche out of Stuttgart; from early 356’s to RWB’s and everything in-between (we did notice there were no 914’s though). A small number of cars competed in the Concours d’Elegance that were in no doubt rebuilt to be the best of the best. These included a couple of 356’s, 911’s and even a 928.

Thank you to the PCWA for a fantastic morning. It was the place to be for the Porsche fan.
